Walbrook Wharf

EU Glass, working with its glass partner Wagener Group (a part of the international Isolar Group) is proud to announce the completion of the Walbrook Wharf Project.

This was a major refurbishment contract by the Corporation of London for one of their key Central London offices. The main contractor for the project was Kajima, with the glazing contract award to English Architectural Glazing.

EU Glass were involved in this project from the design stage, assisting EAG in achieving a high standard of solar control and thermal insulation as well as a good looking building – and of course all within a tight budget.

The sealed units, which measured up to 1806mm by 3391mm, more than 6 square metres were constructed using 10mm Green tinted outer, combined with 10.8mm laminated inner. The required U-value was achieved using Isolar’s Neutralux Premium low-e coating.
